Silicone Milling Explained

SSP’s Taylor Smith, Research Development Chemist, describes the silicone milling process. SSP uses a two-roll system that combines inputs so that we can meet different specifications in the final compound. We can use silicone milling to sheet-off material or make what’s known as a pig roll.
