Specialty Silicone Products (SSP) makes EMI/RFI shielding elastomers, MIL-SPEC and aerospace silicones, and fabricated products. Many of our EMI/RFI shielding materials are independently tested and MIL-DTL-83528 QPL certified. SSP’s MIL-SPEC and aerospace silicones and fluorosilicones meet AA 59588, AMS, and MIL-DTL-25988 requirements. We also provide ASTM E595 low outgassing elastomers for space use. Our fabricated products include EMI gaskets and EMI O-rings that are die cut, flash cut, molded or bonded using tools we make in-house.
We offer a full Certificate of Analysis (COA) with every batch.
Conductive EMI O-Rings
Conductive EMI O-Rings are available in M83528 sizes and made from alternatives to CHOMERICS® CHO-SEAL® and GORE® EMI shielding materials. Choose standard or custom EMI O-rings that SSP molds or bonds using the tools we make for fast, efficient production.
MIL-SPEC and Aerospace Products
MIL-SPEC and Aerospace Products include AA 59588 Class 1, 2, and 3 materials with COAs from our in-house laboratory. AMS silicones and MIL-DTL-25988 fluorosilicones also come with COAs for supply chain traceability. Products include low outgassing, low temperature silicones for spacecraft.
Conductive Elastomers in Sheets and Rolls
Conductive Elastomers in Sheets and Rolls are filled with nickel-coated or silver-coated particles and available in standard and custom sizes. These ready-to-fabricate elastomers include materials that are MIL-DTL-83528 QPL certified, corrosion resistant, soft, reinforced, fuel and solvent resistant, low outgassing, and flame retardant.
SSP’s materials and products are available in low minimum order quantities (MOQs) and made at our ISO 9001:2015 certified facility in Ballston Spa, New York (USA). Ask us for ready-to-fabricate materials with full COAs or for fabricated products like EMI gaskets, EMI connector gaskets, EMI waveguide gaskets, custom molded EMI gaskets, and EMI O-rings.
