Specialty Silicone Products (SSP) makes conductive EMI RFI O-rings from nickel-aluminum fluorosilicone SSP502F-60. SSP extrudes the cords, makes the tooling, and uses a bonding method that reduces the risk of EMI leakage and eliminates the “hard spot” found in other conductive gaskets.
SSP502F-60 is a 60-durometer fluorosilicone that’s filled with nickel-coated graphite particles. It’s electrically conductive and combines reliable environmental sealing with superior shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). SSP502F-60 is dark gray in color, has a thermal stability range of –55° C to 200° C, and provides fuel and solvent resistance.
