EMI RFI Conductive O-Rings made of Nickel-Aluminum Silicone

Specialty Silicone Products (SSP) makes conductive EMI RFI O-rings from nickel-aluminum silicone SSP2529. SSP extrudes the cords, makes the tooling, and uses a bonding method that reduces the risk of EMI leakage and eliminates the “hard spot” found in other conductive gaskets.

SSP2529 is filled with nickel-coated aluminum particles for superior galvanic protection and effective EMI shielding in marine environments. Compared to other EMI elastomers, nickel-aluminum silicones provide the highest shielding effectiveness after long-term age testing. These particle-filled elastomers also have low transfer impedance and are extremely reliable as flange gaskets.
