The Industrial Mill Machine Operator primary role is to operate milling equipment in Industrial manufacturing department and cross train in Lab Products. May be required to perform other duties, such as packaging, inventory cycle counts and/or work with other production equipment. Demonstrates full competency in the operation and maintenance of mill equipment as documented on training records. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery. Adjusts and cleans machines. Documents work performed as required. Other roles would be bonding, friction, automated packaging and injection molding. May be required to work overtime and weekends.

The Mill Operator primary role is to operate milling equipment in Advanced Materials manufacturing department. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly! May be required to perform other duties, such as packaging, inventory cycle counts and/or work with other production equipment. Demonstrates full competency in the operation and maintenance of the calendar and mill equipment as documented on training records.
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for short- and long-term resolution of safety, growth, quality, productivity and reliability challenges in a manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Engineer provides technical expertise to area operators and implements continuous process improvements, and reliable and consistent plant operations. The Manufacturing Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager and will work closely with operators, maintenance personnel, team leaders and managers, and will have a keen knowledge of manufacturing processes as well as engineering tools. Use of six sigma and lean methodology as well as good project organization is important for success. The position will also design new controls and equipment for both productivity gains and growth opportunities. The role will lead formal and informal programs as well as capital projects to drive improvement in manifesting.

The IT Technician will install, maintain, and support the computer systems and networks at SSP. They are responsible for achieving the highest level of functionality and reliability. They will interface with our corporate headquarters IT Team and ensure compliance with their network policies and security protocols. The IT Technician should be well versed in computer software, hardware, internet-based applications, networks, and operating systems.
