Specialty Silicone Products (SSP) continues to grow as we meet global demand for innovative elastomers. Recently, our Ballston Spa, New York company promoted Gary Falchi to Business Development Specialist. Gary Joined SSP in December 2017 as a Production Engineer and was promoted to Product Development Engineer in August 2022. In his new role, Gary will help grow SSP’s Advanced Materials Division.
A native of Sauquoit, New York, Gary is a 2017 graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego. There, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Management, an academic program that includes a 240-hour industrial internship. Gary’s internship at the Saranac Brewery in Utica, New York meant working with craft beer instead of silicones, but his process focus was instructive.
In his two engineering roles with SSP, Gary supported aerospace, defense, and industrial companies that needed ready-to-fabricate materials or finished parts. Over the past six years, he’s developed a strong knowledge of the silicone industry and SSP’s EMI shielding and aerospace elastomers. From sheets, rolls, and ready-to-mold compounds to extrusions, O-rings, and gaskets, SSP has a growing product portfolio.
In his new role as Business Development Specialist, Gary works with Dominic Testo, our long-time Business Development Manager, and Kevin Wickert, SSP’s Sales Manager. With his understanding of SSP’s capabilities and our customers’ needs, Gary is in a unique position to benefit our industry partners immediately.
Please join SSP in congratulating Gary Falchi on his new role. He can be reached at gfalchi@sspinc.com.
