SSP offers a 75-durometer nickel-coated EPDM shielding elastomer. This non-silicone gasket material provides excellent ozone and UV resistance along with good compression set and solvent resistance. As with all SSP’s EMI shielding elastomers, customized versions are available in different durometers.
SSP2514-75 is a nickel coated graphite filled conductive EPDM based shielding elastomer. It is used when looking for excellent ozone and UV resistance along with good compression set and solvent resistance.
In certain applications, conductive silicone or fluorosilicone is not recommended for various reasons. EPDM-based conductive elastomer is a great choice especially when looking for good shielding and weather-resistant sealing material.
