Nano-D Connector Gaskets
SSP makes nano-D connector gaskets that provide EMI/RFI shielding and environmental sealing for nano-sized, D-shaped connectors. We offer low-to-medium volumes and fast turnaround times.
As a vertically integrated manufacturer, SSP makes its own EMI/RFI shielding silicones, machines tooling in-house, and fabricates products in accordance with our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system in Ballston Spa, New York (USA).
What is a Nano-D Gasket?
A nano-D connector gasket is installed between a compact nano-D connector and the mating surface or mounting panel. It sits flush against the back of the Nano-D connector shell or directly in the panel cut-out groove.
Nano-D Connector Gasket Sizes
Nano-D connector gaskets are sized by their pin count (matching the 9 to 69 contact arrangements) rather than traditional shell dimensions. The contact spacing is ultra-dense at 0.025 ” (0.64 mm). Standard thickness typically ranges from 0.004 ” up to 0.032 ” for typical EMI/RFI shielding applications.
