Silver-Aluminum Filled Silicone Shielding Elastomer

SSP2476-65 is a silver aluminum filled silicone elastomer designed for optimized surface conductivity. Most silver aluminum filled silicones are designed around hard to meet military specifications like the Mil-DTL-83528 Type B call out. These elastomers must sacrifice maximum conductive filler loading levels in order to enable them to meet certain physical properties like elongation and tear strength. 

Since SSP2476-65 is a non military grade standard product we are able to add more conductive silver aluminum filler maximizing surface conductivity. This product is used for applications where electrical contact is most important. For instance push button switches used on key pads would be an ideal application for SSP2476-65. 

Please note this product also has a thermal conductivity value of 1.9 w m/k and can be used for thermal conductivity applications as long as electrical conductivity is not a problem within the application.
