BS 1806 EMI O-Rings

SSP fabricates BS 1806 568 EMI O-Rings from the electrically conductive silicones that we make. These conductive O-rings provide environmental sealing and EMI shielding for applications such as military and aerospace electronics, telecommunications and networking equipment, medical equipment, electric vehicles and power electronics, and industrial control systems.

Base elastomers: Silicone or fluorosilicone
Conductive particles: Silver-aluminum, silver-copper, silver-nickel, nickel-aluminum, or nickel-graphite
Manufacturing: Molded or bonded

Note: SSP also makes M83528/002 Standard EMI O-Rings and M83528/005 Non-Standard EMI O-Rings for military applications.

BS 1806 EMI O-Ring Sizes

BS 1806 was issued by the British Standards Institution and includes five main cross-section (CS) groups. Some groups correspond to AS568 EMI O-ring sizes, but there are also groups that are between AS 568 sizes.
